Four villages to chose from should keep you fairly busy. The abandoned mineshaft I found runs through a large ravine, so it's more open than your usual AMS. The crater lake was nice.

The American robin lays eggs that are a pale blue color. For those of you who write HTML code or want to see what the color is in your favorite image editor: in hex, it's #96DED1.

My Review

Bang! What a great seed. I was worried I wouldn't find a particularly sweet one today, but I lucked out. This site has some great sight lines. I found a ravine with a massive cave drilled through the middle of it, a couple of sweet overhangs, and some deep pits you'll have to build some stairs to descend into. I even found diamonds. However, with all that, there isn't any real dangerous spots, so I feel confident in my beginner rating.

The northwest corner has a town, ravine, and some cool caves. The southwest corner has a crazy thick swamp. Guess which one I would encourage you to spend most of your time in.

"En revanche" is a French idiom that means, basically, "on the other hand...".

My Review

This was a fantastic seed. Clearly the five villages I found would make this something special all on their own. However, this seed also contains multiple dungeons as well. Together -- along with the nice ravines and flaming trees -- they combine to give you the highest ranking seed so far. Beginners should absolutely try this one out; experts might get a little bored if they already have a multi-village seed. All around, very exciting.

By the way, if you look closely at the photo above, you'll see that what you're actually looking at is two dungeons right next to each other. How 'bout that?

So I'm expanding my seed influences to include other languages now. "Pouvez-vous m'aider" is French for "can you help me?"

My Review

Well, you can't ask for a better water world. This seed consists of two remote islands in the middle of what appears to be a vast ocean. Searching the depths could take weeks. However, I did find some goodies. Specifically, this is a great place to get your hands on some red stone. Beyond that, I found two dungeons and more than a handful of gold deposits. I'd say this is an expert level because even swimming between islands is a struggle and the underground is chock full of pitfalls and traps. Novices garde! (That's "Beginners beware!" in case you were wondering)

Etymology

A playwright is someone who writes plays. It combines the words play (a written drama or comedy) and wright (a person who does work on, in this case, plays). Both words a old English, but the first instance of the word playwright dates to the late 1600s.

My Review

This is the seed to play if you want to see all the things that this new update has to offer. There are many villages peppered around the map. I love the flatland desert in this level. It's a really good spot to plant down a castle. There are a lot of waterfalls and floaters on this level. Very scenic. I recommend this seed to all advanced users while I continue my search for something a little more -- legendary.

Map

Well, it doesn't get any simpler than this. The map runs east to west. Dead center is a massive desert with a super thick forest in the west, a nice mountain range in the southwest, and a small bit of ice out east.

My Review

I started off getting spawned next to a village in the southwest quadrant of the map, so that was lovely. After that, I had a look around. This seed has a wide variety of biomes attached to it. There are no less than three separate deserts, three separate icy spots, and two mountain ranges. There are several good ravines and plenty of opportunities for obsidian.

This map is a patchwork quilt of biomes.

In a world full of principals, it is the principle principal who rules them all. He may not be the principal principal, but he is without question the principal of his principles. This unquestionable truth is known as the Principal Principle.

My Review

Lots of underground to take a look at in this one. There are plenty of lava pits and a really large village. You're going to need a lot of diamond swords to protect this one. Finding resources was no sweat and I also discovered several underwater features that instantly made this one of my favorites.

One of the most interesting features of this map is at -335.42.272. It's a dual ravine system where one ravine is basically sitting on top of the second. Digging through the floor of the first ravine is dangerous, so don't forget where you're standing.

Map

The southeast corner is a swamp on the surface, but a vast underground network below. This level is mostly a huge hunk of desert, but luckily the arctic north of the map contains lots of trees and caves.
