Etymology

Satyagraha is a Sanskrit word adopted by Mohandas Gandhi to describe his form of non-violent protest. In his case, he rallied people to peacefully protest the restrictions against salt in India. Other leaders, such as Nelson Mandela, have also adopted some or all of the philosophies behind satyagraha in their struggles.

Notes

I was hoping this one would do a little better, but I did find a really cool butte island that's surrounded by equally high mountains. I'm guessing a couple of "rope" bridges in this area could make for a fun time.

Etymology

Bananas covered in ice cream and rum and Bacardi 151 then set ablaze. It tastes like candy dipped in jet fuel, but the light show makes it worth it.

Notes

On any other day, this seed would easily top the charts. It's just dumb luck it got trumped. It took a long time to search through the mountains on this level looking for things to photograph. Then it took an even longer time cutting down the number of photographs I wanted to show you to a reasonable number. Scenic doesn't even begin to describe it.

Can't Miss

I found a crazy, thin spire that stretches way into the sky. It shall henceforth be known as "The Wand" and just next to it is a nice little floater. You should totally check out this pair if you happen to be in town.

The northeast corner has an elevated island ringed by cliffs. It's not particularly big, but it's imposing and really a cool place to set up a fort.

Notes

For the love of James Lipton, people, I finally found it. My very first TU9 legendary seed. This thing is AMAZING. Let's start at The End and work our way backwards. The End requires only the building of a minor bridge over to the battlefield and you're there. Very easy. Then we have the Nether. It's a lone nether fortress completely surrounded by lava and unattached to any terrain. It's stunning.

The underground I didn't really have a lot of time to get into because the topside is so stunning.

So here it is. The topside. The map shows you a long, boomerang-shaped island covered in mountains. And I mean covered. There's a primary forest in the northeast and southeast corners that are small enough not to be a nuisance but big enough to supply all of your building supplies. Then, there's a really nice, flat desert due north. Finally, everything else is craggy, scarry, shady super-rocks. Cliffs. Waterfalls pouring into the lake. Some small and medium sized floaters. The rest is just Y=120 nightmare crags. Buttes, ranges, and basins galore. The shaded areas are stunning and there are plenty of them -- as evidenced by the photos above.

This is an ABSOLUTE must play.
