Etymology

After World War II, the city of Berlin was divided into two parts: east and west. East Berlin was controlled by Russia; the West by American/English administrators. Due to the restrictive nature of communism, East Berlin became a truly repressive place to live. Though 99% of the wall is gone, to this day you can distinguish both sides by looking at the architectural differences (visible even in aerial photographs).

Notes

The ender portal on this level has four eyes already in place, so that's nice. Also, you're going to find some good mountains and a nice nether.

Etymology

Steak Diane is steak that has been seared in it's seasoned juices and then set on fire while you're looking at it. If you like your steak well done and covered in Brandy, this may be the dish for you. The dish is named after the Roman goddess Diana -- the protector of huntsman and game.

Notes

You fool! You fell for my trap! Here I am reeling you in with a juicy story about liquored-up steak. Now you can't stop reading. And this seed is rated suicidal expert. What are you going to do now? Play it? You are? Ha! You fool!

This is the Minecraft equivalent of hosting a marathon in Alaska. There is only a tiny whisp of green in the southeast corner. The rest of the map is a blinding white blur -- except when you accidentally step in a hole and plummet to your death. Because the only thing this seed has more of other than acres and acres of snow covered nothing is holes in the ground that bottom in graveyards of bony adventurers -- like yourself.

Can't Miss

The triplets are three gaping holes that corkscrew into the earth. Each is unique and one of them is a monstrous and obscene climb that I would not dare attempt on survival mode. I'll let you figure out which one it is.

Etymology

Aerosmith loved this song so much they sung it twice: first by themselves and then later with the group Run-D.M.C. Since the second version happened in 1986 (the original was 1975), the remix is the namesake.

Notes

Lots of mountains and a gnarled island in this one. I also found a landmark henceforth known as the "Sewing Machine" that can be seen for meters. The nether on this one also has some cool formations.

Etymology

A ubiquitous chemical compound used in chemistry labs around the world.

Notes

For the love of James Lipton, people, I finally found it. My very first TU9 legendary seed. This thing is AMAZING. Let's start at The End and work our way backwards. The End requires only the building of a minor bridge over to the battlefield and you're there. Very easy. Then we have the Nether. It's a lone nether fortress completely surrounded by lava and unattached to any terrain. It's stunning.

The underground I didn't really have a lot of time to get into because the topside is so stunning.

So here it is. The topside. The map shows you a long, boomerang-shaped island covered in mountains. And I mean covered. There's a primary forest in the northeast and southeast corners that are small enough not to be a nuisance but big enough to supply all of your building supplies. Then, there's a really nice, flat desert due north. Finally, everything else is craggy, scarry, shady super-rocks. Cliffs. Waterfalls pouring into the lake. Some small and medium sized floaters. The rest is just Y=120 nightmare crags. Buttes, ranges, and basins galore. The shaded areas are stunning and there are plenty of them -- as evidenced by the photos above.

This is an ABSOLUTE must play.
